• What Do I Specialise In?

  I am a consultant paediatrician with a special interest in childhood respiratory disease and allergy. He completed specialist training in general paediatrics as well as in respiratory paediatrics in 2002.

• Tell Me About Your Clinics in Respiratory Disease

  I run regular multidisciplinary clinics in respiratory disease and in childhood allergy including; skin prick testing, investigation of allergy, allergic asthma, ABPA in bronchiectasis patients, challenge testing and other specialised services such as spirometry, and exercise testing.

  I also host a regular clinic in cystic fibrosis and other causes of bronchiectasis. He has expertise in a wide range of respiratory diseases including, the care of asthma and other causes of wheeze for tertiary and secondary level patients.

• Tell Me About Your Experience in Medical Law and Ethics?

  I gained a master of laws degree in medical law and ethics in 2012, and have since then written medico-­legal reports for the department.

• How Are You Involved in Teaching?

  I have and continue to teach junior staff and medical students, I am also an accredited appraiser conducting appraisals of junior staff, some consultant colleagues and non training staff.
